The sword is 19 inches, 21 inches in scabbard, with a 12 inch blade. The foot long high quality carbon steel blades slides easily and comfortably into its scabbard with quick sheathing and un-sheathing The leaf blade is based on the first style of Gladii used from around 216 BC until 20 BC.
