Uncensored Google Adsense
Tips & Tricks
- Submit your site to Google. Otherwise let Google (Google submittion)
your
site.
Web searches are mainly done through Google. Here a
monthly statistic:

Google is absolutely the first search engine, followed by Yahoo (Yahoo submittion)
and MSN (MSN
submittion) at the same
level.
- Get an adsense account. If your submittion is at risk approval
because probably violates Terms and Conditions,
try the submittion with a safe site and then apply the code for all
your sites (at your own risk).
- Ads have to be integrated with
the site content. Use the same color palette for pages and ads. Ad
background
must match the page background; don't use ad border.
- Select the biggest ad formats such as 336x280 large rectangle ,
300x250 inline rectangle and 160x600 wide skyscraper.
According to me this is the best format
- Don't use Link Units at all.
- Place the ads in the middle of the page as much as possible.
Adsense placement suggestion
My best top 3 places
- Place three ads per page, even less if you want to
increase the CPM. The general rule is that CPM
decrease with ads
number and width. If you put ads in the bottom of the page, use
content that encourage people to scroll down.
- Test and tune different ads format with channels.
- Use graphics ads when pages have many graphics. In a text-only
page, text ads will work fine.
- Focus pages on a specific theme. If you have a very big size
page,
divide it into different pages to be more specific in a topic.
- Don't click on your ads from the same IP that you use for the
Adsense login. Moreover fake clicks will reduce your CPM and you risk
to be banned from Adsense program.
- Force users to use Adsense Search because it has an high CPM.
- Select Open search results in a new browser window.
- If possible, select top paying keywords. You can use Overture
to compare payment bids for different keywords. Keywords under your
adsense box influence your ads much
more than the other words in the page. Another useful tools is
the Keyword
Selector that shows how many times that term was searched during
last
month.
- You can increase your revenue adding a referral button to your
site: US $100 for every new AdSense publisher who earns $100. Try also
this opportunity like I'm doing with you

Glossary
- Ad = Advertise
- CPM = cost-per-1000-impressions (CPM)
- Link unit = List of topics that are
relevant to your page.
Examples:

- Channel = Channels provide you with a way
to view detailed reporting about the performance of your pages. By
assigning a channel to any combination of pages, you can track a
variety of metrics across your sites. Track your leaderboard
performance versus the performance of your towers, or compare your
motorcycle pages to your automobile pages, by assigning each group of
pages to a specific channel and comparing results in your custom
channel reports. You can even assign a channel to each of your separate
domains, to see where your clicks are coming from.
