About this vehicle<br>This 1974 BMW 2002 is an original with updates to the interior and drivetrain. The owner has had it for 1 year. The vehicle is drivable and is mainly used for weekend drives.<br>Seller's Notes<br>This car will need extensive work to make it what it should be but I don’t have the resources or time. Local pickup will be available and buyer must make their own arrangements for transportation. Thank you.<br>Vehicle Details<br>1974 BMW 2002 in poor to fair overall condition for it’s age with the typical rust that comes with this model car. Clean title and it runs and drive. I drive it frequently and the biggest issues now are of course the rust and the gas tank has to be cleaned. Most rust spots are on the undercarriage but the shock towers are not rusted. There is a big rust spot on the driver’s door as seen in the photos. The roof is sagging and will need to be replaced. The sunroof is leaking because of a missing seal and the mechanism is also rusted. The car was upgraded to a 1995 318i engine and transmission by the previous owner and because of this the speedometer and tach does not work anymore but a Garmin navigation system with speed indicator will be included. The exhaust system from the behind the trans is new but will need a new bracket to stop it hitting the body on initial acceleration. We installed new engine and transmission mounts, flex disc, differential mounts  and most of the front ball joints and steering arms, master cylinder and replaced the steering column. This is an original factory installed AC model but because of the retrofit it does not work and some components are missing. The heater works as does most of the essential items but the fuel gauge does not work. The original keys does not lock the doors and the ignition switch was replaced and we have the keys.
